Wedding Tips

While you can certainly Google and see tons of tips from the Internet, from the time you start planning until the actual date of your wedding, I would like to share with you a few tips from our own personal experience.

1. Don't be a control freak. Yes. You can't control everything.  You can plan, prepare in advance, there are circumstances you really can't control - for example,  the weather. Especially if you're outdoors.

2. Make sure someone knows how to bustle your dress. In the Philippines,  we have a norm, not to try or put on the gown before the wedding, else, your wedding won't push through.  So with all the diet I have done to prepare and in fear not to fit in the gown, i don't really know if I will fit or not. Only for me to realize, i lost a lot of weight. So I needed someone on-the-day to assist me put safety pins and all to look good on the gown.

3. Hire a coordinator for the day of your wedding. I didn't, so please do so. Well, it's up to you, it's a recommendation I think I will do if we will marry again. We thought we can do everything,  while we did, and I think our squad did a good job, it is best you have someone expert on the day, to lessen the worry.

4. Don't fight or argue with your soon-to-be husband/wife. Whatever is happening is just normal so don't let your emotions flow. You don't want eyebags popping up on your wedding day. Chill.

5. Remember what's important and why are you having the ceremony.  Your marriage is what you need to focus on, which is a long time commitment and journey.  So don't get stressed and enjoy the party. So again, chill.

xoxo,
Argie and Jet
