How to Deepen Your Connection with Your Spouse?

Have you ever met a couple who has been married for decades—48, 34, 25 years—and still, the way they look at each other feels like the beginning of their love story? Their eyes sparkle with a love that has grown deeper over time. 😍

Being part of Christ In Us has given us the privilege of hearing many beautiful stories like these and learning the secrets to building a love that stands the test of time. 😇

Let me share a few of those with you. Are you ready?

1. Don’t give up on your marriage. Just don’t. A great marriage is not an accident—it takes energy, commitment, and hard work. But trust me, it’s worth it. Think of it like gardening: you plant the seeds, water them, protect them, and patiently nurture them until they bloom. 🌸

2. Communicate openly and pray together. The saying is true: “The couple that prays together, stays together.” Take quiet moments to talk about your day, your victories, your challenges. Keep the lines of communication open—listen as much as you speak. And most importantly, end your conversations in prayer. Pray for each other and with each other. 🫶

3. Put God at the center of your marriage. Marriage isn’t always easy, and life can feel overwhelming. But when you allow God to take the lead, His grace and the Holy Spirit will sustain you. With God, you can face anything together. 🙏

If these tips speak to your heart and you feel a desire to deepen your relationship with your spouse—or to grow closer to God as a couple—we invite you to join us for our Marriage Encounter Weekend Seminar on March 7-9, 2025, in Tagaytay. 🥰

This could be the fresh start your marriage needs. Send me a message for more details—slots are limited, so don’t wait too long! ✨️

Let’s nurture the love that brought you together and make it even stronger. ❤️

xoxo, Argie & Jet

Make It A Great Year

 Happy New Year!!! 🎆🥳🥂✨️

I hope you are ready to make this year your great year yet! 🙏

How will YOU be different?

What will we change, and what will we nurture and cultivate? 💭

There must be a lot that you've learned from last year, I am pretty sure you're excited to change this year. ⏳️

To finish the year well, we need to START well. 💪

The first few weeks set the pace for the entire year to come.☝️

How will you plan out and work on your 2025?📒

We have an option- We can be a person of action and vitality that wins more often than we lose. ➡️

Or, as a person who prefers to tip-toe through life trying not to be noticed? - a whiner and complainer who just wants to be left alone. ⬅️

There are winners and there are whiners.

Gary Simpson, a motivational trainer and a life coach, once described winners as someone who attracts people to them like bees around honey. They have infectious personalities. They stand out in a crowd. They are people to be reckoned with. They are dreamers, planners and achievers. Winners have conquests in their minds. They talk about opportunities, projects and the future. Winners smile. 😊

Whilst whiners repel people like a bad smell in a confined space. They have poisonous personalities. They too stand out in a crowd but for opposite reasons. They find it difficult to hold conversations because people find them tiresome. Whiners have conflict in their minds. They criticize, deride and ridicule others. Their favourite topics include rumour and innuendo. Whiners scowl. 🤨

Let's check our language. Is it positive or negative? Check our thinking. Is it appreciating or depreciating? ✅️

Being a winner inspires us because winners can tell us where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them. Being anything else is not just worth wasting time on. 🏆
